Dr. Kimberly Balas is a board-certified naturopathic physician with more than three decades of experience in clinical practice, research, and integrative health innovation. With a PhD in Nutrition and a professional background in aerospace engineering, Dr. Balas brings both scientific rigor and systems-based thinking to her work in natural medicine.

After pursuing a successful engineering career at Cape Canaveral, Florida, Dr. Balas shifted her focus to naturopathic medicine following her own personal health journey. Today, she is known for her innovative and comprehensive approach to addressing complex health imbalances, integrating nutrition, herbal medicine, and individualized protocols to support whole-person wellness.

In addition to maintaining a full-time clinical practice in Casper, Wyoming, Dr. Balas serves as the Clinical Director for the Hughes Center of Research in Utah. In this role, she oversees product formulation, clinical education, research development, and collaborative studies — including university partnerships and supplement testing initiatives. Her work has contributed to white papers, scientific publications, software development, and global product development projects.

Dr. Balas is an active member of the American Naturopathic Association, the American Herbalists Guild, and the International Iridology Practitioners Association. She has also served as a board member and advisor on international health initiatives in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.

An international lecturer and educator, Dr. Balas is frequently invited to speak at conferences and professional trainings. She is the author of more than a dozen books, research papers, university textbooks, and professional training materials. Her work has been recognized in publications such as Time magazine and Fit Pregnancy, and she remains deeply committed to advancing complementary and integrative health education worldwide.
